On Airport Camping

Many participants enjoy staying on-site at the airport throughout the event. There are a limited number of 30 AMP full hookup sites with available holding tank service, an additional limited number of 10 AMP sites, and unpowered tent camping sites. Frequently, an overflow area is designated away from the general camping area for motorhomes with generators. Generators are prohibited in the general camping area. The fee schedule for each type of site is posted on the Reserve A Site page.

Necessaries

Porta toilets are available throughout the event and camping area. The Airport Office also has an air-conditioned lounge sitting area with restrooms. Water is available throughout the camping area and a private shower trailer with plenty of hot water is available for campers.

Food & Supplies

There is a food concession serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner available from Wednesday Breakfast through Saturday Lunch. Saturday dinner is the event banquet, which requires pre-purchased reservations. Other vendors on site will be providing aircraft-related parts and supplies. Other camping supplies are available in the town of Wauchula, about 20 minutes away. Event participants are encouraged to patronize the on-site vendors as much as possible.
